Going With My Guts II - Hello everyone! - I don't know about you, but I, for my part, am all done with this political correctness garbage which I find is a truly American homemade vice. I am aware that measuring everything by the same yardstick would be wrong and above all stupid, nor do I mean any disrespect, but I just don't know of any other nation that avoids getting to the point as is, rejects confrontational talk, yes, and lies through their teeth and don't even think anything bad about it like this country. I certainly don't mean to insult or offend a whole nation but would rather see it come out of it at last. After all, this is exactly where this high horse political correctness has got you over the decades, which is unfortunately nowhere. Don't get me wrong, we Europeans are familiar with white lies just as much as you are, and occasionally we do fall back on them, but in general we are known to speak up and say it as it is. No, we are certainly not afraid to speak the truth, and yes, we sadly often come across as blunt, rude or even tactless, but at least people know where they stand most of the time. - Now, let me get back to my choice of preferred for- runners for the 2016 US- presidency. Aside from charisma, the main reason why I am favoring Ben Carson and Donald Trump is - as you might have guessed already - HONESTY. I have to admit, both gentlemen bravely hold up the virtue of honesty and seem to be fighting their way through all that BS, sugar- coated in nauseating political correctness, surprisingly successfully. "Over all, we are doing alright", I keep hearing here one way or another on an almost regular base. So, this country is supposedly doing okay. I am surprised, to say the least. Please, just name one thing that's going well here these days, just one. I'm afraid, I can't find even one single item that really stands out. Not even the economy, which is allegedly back on track and blooming again, could be seriously considered uplifting positive. Let's face it America, basically nothing is alright, and things are far from getting any better by just waiting it out, ignoring the facts or by just overlooking the truth. However, as I see it, it's not all too late for change yet even though time is of the essence. We just need to start making sense and cut out all that bull crap for once and all. It apparently takes two individuals such as Donald Trump and Ben Carson who stand up and take off their filters willing to call a spade a spade after all. Thank God, there finally appears to be a light faintly gleaming at the end of the tunnel, and what a surprise, the American people like it! Why I wonder? Is it because that giant construct of promises, pledges, threats, intentions, ideas and much more is visibly crumbling due to its rocky foundation built on hypocrisy, lies, two- facedness and false pretense, and folks here are finally waking up to it? Very much so, I believe. The fragile house of cards is ultimately collapsing and showing its ugly side, TRUTH. Countless issues have been dragged on and out and have partly been deliberately blanketed through solution attempts which have never meant to serve the purpose or have never had the potential to cure, alleviate, eradicate, correct or whatever but have instead turned all those socio- economic, military, religious, domestic as well as foreign political problems into unparalleled difficulties. As was to be expected, a great deal has got out of hand already or is more or less on the verge of doing just that simply because the majority of American politicians is flat- out corrupt and besides not willing to even look at those paramount issues that are right in front of them. Now two knights in shining armor have emerged from that crowd of undeserving and unfit representatives, and for the first time in a long time, they dare point out some of those severe problems the way they are and are hence bringing overdue movement into long stagnant and encrusted structures. What this country needs is by no means a tactless or rude but a brutally honest and straight- forward rather than a politically correct approach towards all that is out of alignment. The root of all evil or rather the common denominator seems to be inequality on multiple levels which has led to racism, ignorance, arrogance, stupidity, dishonesty, discordance, unfair competition, greed, envy, bullying, hatred, lack of compassion and lack of spirituality - just to name some of many, many negative consequences. Today people are ever the more stripped off their rights but are at the same time increasingly burdened with more responsibilities, especially in financial regards. In the meantime, the educational system is going down the tubes with flying colors, the housing market is crashing, entire cities are shutting down in bankruptcy due to overpowering welfare subsidies, overwhelming crime rates, insufficient monetary resources and revenues to fix abandoned houses and infrastructure, staggeringly dwindling tax- bases, and so on and so forth. - More next week.
