Keine weiteren Steuern!   Ich bin eigentlich recht überrascht, dass sich bislang noch niemand öffentlich aufgelehnt hat, angesichts dessen, was hier alles so vor sich geht, bzw. was in sehr absehbarer Zeit schon in steuerlichen Belangen auf dieses Land zukommt. "Sei versichert," so eine Freundin vor wenigen Tagen, "das wird sich rasch ändern." Ich persönlich kann es immer noch nicht fassen, wie unverschämt hoch die Schulsteuern für die Menschen hier und sonst wo innerhalb der Vereinigten Staaten ausfallen. Wir erhielten unsere Steuervorschreibung eben erst zum allerersten Mal in unserem neuen Heim, und seither ist mir speiübel, und ich bin zugegebenermaßen missgelaunt, da man von uns erwartet, bis Ende dieses Monats $3042 hinzublättern. Falls nicht, so werden wir mit einer monatlichen Strafzahlung von $64 beschlagen. Keineswegs lustig! No More Taxes!   I am actually quite surprised that so far nobody has publicly rebelled against what's been going on or rather what is going to be happening in terms of taxation in this country. "Rest assured", as a friend said to me recently, "this will change quickly." I personally still can't get past the incredibly bold amounts of school taxes people have to pay here and elsewhere across the United States. We just got ours for the first time in our new home, and ever since I have been feeling fairly queasy and admittedly miserable as we are expected to pay $3042 by the end of this month. If not, we will be slammed with a monthly penalty fee of 64 bucks. Not funny at all! And what am I finding out about Mr. Obama's mandate of health care which was sanctioned off by the Supreme Court only a few months ago? Religiöse Toleranz    Einfach unglaublich, welche Wellen der Empörung eine einzelne Aktion von einem einzelnen Individuum am elften Jahrestag von 9/ 11 auslöste. Religious Tolerance    Just incredible what a ripple effect one single action by one individual created on the day of the 11th 9/ 11 Anniversary. Keine Traditionen, Keine Werte    Ein herzliches Hallo an alle! - Das Begehen allgemein bekannter Traditionen wie Weihnachten, Ostern, Halloween, etc. entpuppt sich immer mehr als kommerzielles Armageddon und als völlig aufgedunsene und sinn- lose Melkkuh. Jeder seufzt beim allerersten Anzeichen in Großgeschäften wie Walmart, Target, BJ`s, Home Depot, etc., und ist für gewöhnlich zum Zeitpunkt der allgemein erwarteten Freude über den Klimax des in Frage kommenden Ereignisses einem Nervenzusammenbruch nahe. Nur ein Beispiel dazu. Nach dem Labor Day (Tag der Arbeit) Wochenende Anfang September ist - zumindest hier in diesen Breiten -  der Sommer offiziell vorüber. No Traditions, No Values   Good Morning! - Celebrating commonly known traditions such as Christmas, Easter, Halloween, etc. has more and more turned into a commercialized Armageddon and a highly blown- up and totally sense- less cash- cow.
