So, What Happens When We Die? - Welcome back to my weekly blog! - Unfortunately, another sweet soul just left this earth about a week ago and was laid to rest today. As much as her sudden loss hurts, I'm so happy for her that she's finally able to reunite with her late mother, sister and husband. - Well, last week I already got a little into what happens once we're physically dead. The immortal core or essence of our being is the soul which in my modest opinion resides between the eyes (Third Eye) however with strong ties to the human heart. Shortly after we die, the soul starts to pull out starting at the feet and gradually working its way up to the head for a final time. At this point, I should perhaps mention that the soul does not inhabit its adopted physical shell on a stationary base, but that it rather temporarily leaves the body, especially at night, during times of astral projections, traumatic and Near- Death experiences. You may wonder, how the soul's physical occupation starts? Well, after conception, the soul usually doesn't appear before the 20th week of pregnancy, and even after that it steps in and out at its own discretion and will roughly up to the age of 6. I think, this may indeed serve as a vital piece of information for both abortion advocates and opponents when it comes to the question of how long a fetus remains soulless, and if killing it is justified at all. We really need to understand that the soul has the absolute and unrestricted liberty to decide if it wants to go on with this tedious process of gradually mingling with the family's genetic set- up and that new fetus' future ego or not. Should it choose not to go through with it all the way, it will alienate itself and ultimately abandon the fetus which inevitably leads to its miscarriage or still- birth. Overall though, tragedies like these happen comparatively rarely, considering how many babies are born and raised healthy. More about this sort of issue at a later point. - After this brief excursion, let's now go back to the ascendence of the soul after completing a lifetime. The soul may still want to hover above its lifeless host for a while, but usually it is sucked up at high velocity and pulled through a narrow tunnel- like vessel until it reaches the infamous Pearly Gates, a definite and irreversible crossing into the Beyond. There our deceased loved ones plus our beloved pets are already waiting for us. However, before we can fully rejoice in a jubilant reunion with them, we are first greeted and pulled aside by our primary spiritual guide who leads us into the Great Halls. This is an abundantly illuminated place comparable to the grandest and most majestic library ever built and of such overwhelming beauty and aesthetics we could never imagine here in this earthly realm. There we make our worthy appearance in front of the Council of Elders, a designated and selected group of old and wise souls. On a movie screen, the soul and its main guide are invited to watch the so- called Life Review with the purpose of a solely self- reflective and most critical analysis of the latest life. The soul relives each and every single important event and incident from all possible angles in all its authentic intensity and at the very same time. This way the soul is given a fair chance to reconsider and learn about all the reactions its own actions caused in others. All the physical, mental and emotional hurt is unearthed relentlessly and brutally honestly and is supposed to serve as a valuable learning lesson for future incarnations. Of course, not everything is bad, and so the soul also re- experiences the whole array of positive, great, noble, and compassionate moments which led to other people's joy and happiness. And now the most significant part of all, nothing or nobody but the soul itself evaluates, analyzes and criticizes its own path and its own doings whether good or bad. The role of the spiritual guide number one is merely to assist, listen and advise. The Council of Elders completely stays out of judgement for the time being. This Life Review is said to be very cathartic and eye- or rather mind- opening. No doubt, the soul knows that that summary of life events is always a joint venture of a the genetic set- up, b the future ego and c its own contribution, but as the head of that triangle, the soul will always take full responsibility in front of the Council of Elders who listens patiently and helps out with advice whenever needed. This should immediately stop all those in their tracks who fiercely claim that God doesn't love us and thus punishes us for our wrong- doings. Just reading about this will hopefully put you as much at peace as it impacted me on first contact because again, only the soul judges itself and later on accepts correctional advice from the Elders and its personal spirit coach. - Once this is done, the soul is free to join together with its over- joyed soul group fellows such as deceased (great-) grandparents, parents, siblings, children, relatives, friends, and of course, pets. The setting of their dwellings may bear a strong resemblance to the ones the soul recognizes as familiar ones, but no surprise here either, as it's again entirely up to the soul's imagination how to picture what. This is definitely the time so badly needed and yearned for all those years away from everybody and is clearly characterized as a period of pure joy and exceeding frolicking. However, like with everything else, all must eventually come to an end. When the time is here, the spiritual guide(s) is (are) back to accompany the soul back to its classroom studies, for the soul doesn't just need but also requests to learn lots of new things as to be well prepared for a new existence like another life in flesh and blood. In earthly terms, this educational phase might take up as long as 10, 20, 30, 50, 100 years or even longer depending on the soul's learning curve. However, in the realm between lives, the concept of time is irrelevant because it just doesn't exist. Once this project comes to a close, it's time to return to the movie theater to choose among a variety of potential lives. The soul takes a seat together with its main spirit guide and weighs the best of options for the most ideal outcome possible. The cameras roll, and the soul is presented with three or four completely different possible existences in the form of rather complex but incomplete trailers. What this means is, the soul is only shown bits and pieces of those possible lives but never the whole spans, let alone the last few moments but rather the main stops, also the typical corner or mile stones around the ages of 6, 12, 18, etc. depending on the length of that life time. The highest of priorities lies in the soul striving for the best of progress possible according to its developmental stage and at the same time never seeking the easiest path. By not being disclosed a lifetime in its entirety, the soul is guaranteed not to falter and back out at the last minute. - To be continued next week.
