All Black And Blue (II) - Welcome back to my blog! - Let me briefly recapture last week's post. Regardless of the white race having turned out to be by far the worst of all since reportedly (still) committing atrocities of unimaginable extent to themselves and other racial ethnicities alike, the good news is there is in fact a light at the end of that pitch- black tunnel. At soul level, each and everyone of us eventually peels out of it, the white skin this is, and ultimately tries out other colors one by one. Why am I that ecstatic about this news, you may wonder? Well, rather simply, we are all given the opportunity of experiencing and with that correcting any racial wrongdoings on our part. Honestly, what is there not to be cheerful about? Be reminded though, that sort of quickly gratifying bliss we rather discover individually than within the collective. And if you just give it a brief thought, it does make perfect sense because for a singular soul it is basically impossible to randomly break away from the masses and with that to just whimsically decide to detach itself from any collective responsibility and guilt. This might in fact explain seemingly purely coincidental cluster casualties such as airplane crashes, earthquakes, tsunamis, etc. These describe events in which we often find ourselves grouped together as apparently complete strangers and ultimately also perish as such. Thus as a group, people, civilization or even as an entire race we tend to subliminally carry out all sorts of collective actions such as opposing tyranny, rebelling against injustice and defending significant steps for the sake of mankind's development, just to name a few examples. However, on the shadow side which naturally needs to be included as well, we sadly also collectively prosecute, torture and lynch minorities and outcasts for ethnic, religious, political or other reasons. Alright, those who used to be tied together acting as oppressed victims of one kind or another may in the meantime have come back again, most likely standing once more in entire anonymity to each other, in order to react as potential aggressors or perpetrators themselves this time around. I feel like stressing the term potential for the hugely distinct reason that nothing whatsoever is written in stone as of yet due to the simple fact that we always have a choice to either do as is or rather was done onto us or maybe turn to a higher octave in the game of action and reaction. The latter option clearly defines any pacifistic approach with respect to attempting to find a better and more importantly a spiritually far more rewarding solution to a problem. Translated to the currently unquestionably bleak racial tensions occurring in this country, both sides are now seriously prompted to come to an immediate halt for the purpose of reconsidering most thoroughly what is at stake, especially in terms of our collective Karma as well as our individual spiritual advancement. This, however, is of course said so much more easily than actually done and furthermore gives way to a rather different and equally more complex issue which I would preferably like to call "inbred" racism. Of course, nothing like this is ever to be recognized as something naturally ingrained or automatically instilled at birth - except maybe for those truly obstinate souls that just hang on to racism from one incarnation to another as a matter of sheer principle. No, quite on the contrary, racism can be and is in fact easily learnt through role- models like family, friends, teachers, and so on. As a sad consequence, over several generations this kind of handed- down behavior becomes nothing but an "inbred rite of passage" of usually highly underestimated degree, if you will. Consequently, this issue seriously begs the question of where to start to undo this deeply rooted damage and lastly reverse it into a permanent expression of pure love and tolerance because after all, we have socially come as far as to completely adapt to racism being generally tolerated and therefore promoted as well. Often times peer pressure of essentially any kind plays not just a rather immanent role in that but also leaves a paramount mark mainly on western societies. As parents and educators alike we are indeed called upon guaranteeing our children the privilege of remaining unblemished in the way they naturally most unbiasedly encounter their peers of other races and origins. It is our God- given duty to allow them to solely judge for themselves, and what's more, to comfortably proceed in their preciously innocent ways. Instead of planting the seed of blind hatred and the illusion of separation into their tiny hearts just because we so egotistically and ignorantly believe to find the legitimation in passing on our personal shortcomings and prejudice, we had better refrain from such altogether if we want to be released from that burdensome wheel of rebirth for once and all. This one universal truth can be taken for granted. Hate will never weed out hate but just create more of the same. As a matter of fact, any negativity as a response or reaction in general won't ever contribute to its disappearance but in the long run just reinforce and worsen matters. Only true love and heartfelt mutual understanding will accomplish this job well and sustainably. - More about that next week.
