You Have IT Or You Don't (II)

You Have IT Or You Don't (II) - Common Sense is certainly of advantage to have but does not necessarily determine someone's intelligence. I have met countless bright people of all walks of life both with and without the ability of situationally sound judgement. I have also encountered quite a few simple- minded and yet amazingly street- smart folks that differed in no way from those who operated on grounds other than Common Sense. - Today I would like to look more thoroughly into just another one of those gifts most people can only wish they had at least a tiny little fraction of. Charisma is a word of Greek origin meaning "blessing", "favor" or "gift". In a purely religious sense, its primary reference points at the spiritual gifts bestowed by The Holy Spirit on the apostles. Like a rare gem, Charisma describes a certain shine which exists in one out of one hundred people, if at all. You may well know plenty of likable and even mesmerizing individuals personally, but make no mistake by trying to automatically label those as charismatic. I am sadly not in that special league either, no matter how much I wish I had charisma. My husband, on the other hand, is indeed one of the very few blessed ones. What's more, he happens to embody pretty much all of the positives that come along with charisma. - As you may have guessed correctly by now, even charisma can go both ways. Take Adolf Hitler, for instance. Because he possessed that very special allure, he ultimately managed to appeal to millions of war- tired Austrians and Germans during WWII. His rhetorics was incredibly refined and so articulate that the masses just could no longer pull away from his hypnotic charms. With this divine gift, Hitler had been given such a powerful tool which could have gone a long way had it been used positively. Instead that extremely charismatic man eventually turned into a full- blown monster with his soul captured by the Devil. They say that Genghis Khan, Napoleon Bonaparte, Saddam Hussein, Count Dracula, Ted Bundy, etc. - all of whom where known for the worst of war, genocide and other atrocities - had one rare gift in common which was charisma in abundance. Up to this day, several famous cult leaders are blindly followed by hundreds if not thousands and sometimes even millions due to their tantalizing aura. On the grand stage of Human History, as it seems, are found way more examples for negatively appealing personalities than clearly positively geared ones. Trying to single out true beacons of light or also light bearers is definitely nowhere near a mission impossible, but let's face it, the negative generally leaves much more sustainable effect than its opposite. Nonetheless, in the end, my expansive reflection period proves absolutely worthwhile for my findings simply put a warm smile on my lips. Before my mental eye, I see the gleaming faces of deceased people such as Mother Theresa, Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Princess Diana, Elvis Presley, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Pope John Paul II, etc. Those famous people all brought forward a lot of good for mankind by utilizing that tremendous spark that radiated like the glow of a lighthouse. - So, why is it that so few among us reveal genuine charisma while the rest rounds around as merely bland editions, so to speak? Once more, I feel I need to resort to Karma as the true donor of that very special spark. After all, a soul that deserves a fair break following a series of lifetimes spent on Karmic pay- back may actually be in for way more than just that now. The light of charismatic folks shines so bright that it not only reaches most hearts but also opens doors which usually stay closed for us this time around. Things generally seem to be falling in place much more easily for those guys. Also, opportunities often pop up unexpectedly, all while we keep preferably flocking to that breed of individuals as if they were stars or dignitaries of some kind. Generally speaking, we all like to bask in the sun, and for that very reason, we feel magnetically drawn to their light - just like moths. - Until next week.

Buy small and local   Hi everybody! - Coming from a tiny country like Austria, one might assume that globalisation is just a phenomenon tailored for larger nations, but no, it has also been affecting us all across Europe. Globalisation itself is of complex nature, and even though I'm not planning to write about globalisation per se today, it somehow dictates our overall shopping behavior by bringing in more and more big box chain stores worldwide which sets the general trend for methodically and eventually putting local small family- run as well as individualists' shops out of business. In the 70ies I remember mom and dad taking us along to a wide range of stores from the baker to the butcher, the grocer's, the florist, the hard ware place, the electrician, the tobacco store, etc. What great memories our weekly trips to the market created for us. There we would hand- pick fresh fruit, produce, and other delicacies. Sometimes we would even get a piece of fruit or a carrot fo...

The Evolution Of The Soul

The Evolution Of The Soul   - Welcome back to my blog! - Today I'd like to focus on the various levels of souls and their different interim steps, respectively. Altogether there are reportedly 35 different steps, 7 per level of which there are 5. Each single step requires at least one whole lifetime to complete, but since several incarnations end prematurely, are terminated too early or are spent in non- physical states, it does in fact take much longer than that to run through all those steps. Running through, I guess, is a poor choice of words in this context as the entire process definitely resembles more of a gradual growth rather than a speedy race, and so it takes well over a hundred lifetimes and spans over thousands of years at best. Just for the (spiritual) records, the soul's existence between lifetimes - periods that usually also take up some time typically used for the soul to return home, its latest life review, being healed and taught, choosing a new life, prepari...
Jung, Dumm Und Gelangweilt   - Ein herzliches Hallo an alle!
