We're De- Evolving

We're De- Evolving - A big Hello to my readers! - I cannot remember feeling so disgusted, upset, appalled, and sad ever with respect to human behavior. What's been occurring politically, ethnically and socially lately is outrageous and yet only the tip of the ice- berg based on more and more footage only slowly surfacing and leaking into the public. Thanks or due to social media tons of small scope examples of abuse primarily against animals, children and women are documented and eternalized on video demonstrating cowardly acts of unbridled and senseless brutality on defenseless and weak beings. In my opinion, anyone who commits child or animal abuse or boasts about battering women should be taken out immediately, e.g. through an internal chip that implodes and releases a lethal dose of poison. Those beginner souls will only learn through harsh punishment and death. At the risk of repeating myself again, unfortunately love is not the remedy for those low lives to straighten them out. I also don't approve of the generally so widely accepted and most convenient excuse of childhood abuse as a logical explanation for violence to be automatically passed on. In fact, every victim has a choice later in life to either continue on the same miserable path or to bring total change upon themselves and their surrounding. Having suffered abuse myself, I've always felt that hitting back is just not the right way to ease the pain inflicted but makes it all so much worse. The only time worth losing my cool, so to speak, is to confront anyone who maltreats their pets, kids or women in public. Several times already I've allowed myself to get sucked into altercations of almost physical force over alleged disciplinary acts. As dangerous as some confrontations appeared to be, I felt it was absolutely necessary to intervene as the police would either have arrived too late or not at all. Speaking of the police, what are they good for if their hands are getting tied ever the tighter as a consequence of all those many stupid contradictory laws? On the one hand, cops nowadays don't react at all, inadequately or way out of their zone. Just to give you an example, a house full of drug and booze heads can be quite a nuisance for co- tenants as far as traffic and noise. That kind of group may easily turn into a bunch of criminals because the police just won't do what they're supposed to do. Again, executing no consequences will eventually lead to chaos despite over- paid police forces present. Great perspectives indeed! - On a larger scale, we've currently been dealing with relentless threats by a most radical religious terror group. Not enough, now we're even forced to watch horrific decapitations en serie on TV and other media. What are those heartless fanatic males thinking? Are they seriously assuming that shooting, beheading and hanging is the way to religious emancipation? No doubt, by pursuing such gruesome deeds, human lives are abruptly terminated, but I would like to think that this is also a deadly sin in the Islamic belief. Rest assured, Karma will strike back usually when the perpetrators of today are anything but ready for it. To all those brain- washed marionettes, get that through your war- hungry heads: You may kill thousands and thousands of bodies but not one single soul. Those souls will come back and seek revenge by getting back to you when you're the least prepared for it. - What truly worries me in all that mess is the fact that more and more men from developed and highly reputable nations are suddenly conglomerating and joining that army of reckless murderers in the Middle East. Some don't even have the faintest clue what cause they're supposed to support but after a quick tutorial course convert to Islam anyway - for the fun of playing war, as it seems, and for the sheer thrill of being allowed to kill randomly. Just think, how many soldiers there could be recruited this way, and what terrible consequences this may potentially bear! Seriously, I just can't help thinking how dramatically we're de- evolving! All the little crooks, child molesters, animal torturers, thugs, women abusers as well as religious fanatics and serial killers are to learn the hard way that all the harm they're causing now will call for redemption at a later point in this or another lifetime. No bad deed ever remains unpunished. So get ready to switch roles and become the victims for a change.

Ridiculous!

Ridiculous!   - A belated Hello back to my blog! - I was writing this a few days ago as we were sitting on the plane to Chisasibi in the far north east of Quebec, Canada. We flew out of Montreal which is definitely not a small town airport. Anyways, what we went through was the epitome of aggravation. Having been to many airports already, I'm kind of used to the generally time- consuming ordeals starting with the self- check- in counters, security check points, passport controls, mile- long jogs to the gates, baggage claim, customs, etc. I really thought I'd seen it all - until last Monday morning. After surprisingly having been checked in by an actual person, we were finally headed towards Departures. I could not believe my eyes once we turned around the corner and spotted hundreds of passengers waiting in line. What the heck?! First, we were funneled in what seemed half a mile away from the actual security check point and then driven in long snake lines just like cattle. I g...
Buy small and local   Hi everybody! - Coming from a tiny country like Austria, one might assume that globalisation is just a phenomenon tailored for larger nations, but no, it has also been affecting us all across Europe. Globalisation itself is of complex nature, and even though I'm not planning to write about globalisation per se today, it somehow dictates our overall shopping behavior by bringing in more and more big box chain stores worldwide which sets the general trend for methodically and eventually putting local small family- run as well as individualists' shops out of business. In the 70ies I remember mom and dad taking us along to a wide range of stores from the baker to the butcher, the grocer's, the florist, the hard ware place, the electrician, the tobacco store, etc. What great memories our weekly trips to the market created for us. There we would hand- pick fresh fruit, produce, and other delicacies. Sometimes we would even get a piece of fruit or a carrot fo...
Money Destroys The World   - This morning's news segment about a supposedly renowned US dog breeder corporation having neglected thousands of dogs has once more proven that quality is sacrificed for the sake of quantity which is linked to the sad fact that everything revolves around money only.  In order to increase and multiply profits, more volume of less quality has become the clearly chosen option everywhere. No doubt, we are dealing with a huge problem on a global scale, but still I feel that this country doesn't even bother masking the issue at times. That's just not fair towards the people here! Lies and false promises are the epitome of hypocrisy, all for the sake of making more money. Absolutely sickening! Just imagine, you would like to purchase a dog from a good breeding stock, and you are willing to pay more, but what you get is often not what you've been promised, no even worse guaranteed. The worst thing though, the paper work assures you that things are o...
