No More Taxes!  I am actually quite surprised that so far nobody has publicly rebelled against what's been going on or rather what is going to be happening in terms of taxation in this country. "Rest assured", as a friend said to me recently, "this will change quickly." I personally still can't get past the incredibly bold amounts of school taxes people have to pay here and elsewhere across the United States. We just got ours for the first time in our new home, and ever since I have been feeling fairly queasy and admittedly miserable as we are expected to pay $3042 by the end of this month. If not, we will be slammed with a monthly penalty fee of 64 bucks. Not funny at all! And what am I finding out about Mr. Obama's mandate of health care which was sanctioned off by the Supreme Court only a few months ago? Exactly, another unbelievably bold strike against America's loyal tax payers is going to be carried out soon. Just listen to that. From January 1st, 2014 on, everyone in this country will be compelled to have minimal essential health care coverage. This in my eyes utterly anti- constitutional reform will be nothing but another source of taxation. Most probably will the monthly insurance premiums equal the monthly penalty amount all those who cannot or refuse to afford this form of must- have health care will have to pay. This is not just a fine but quite apparently an excise tax enforced by the Internal Revenue Services, shortly IRS. How does this work? Well, those penalty fees will be calculated and then included on the tax payers' tax returns! What exactly does this imply? Nothing short of surprises here either as the flat dollar amount would climb inflation- dependently from $95 a month in 2014 to a whopping $325 in 2015 to a staggering $695 in 2016. Sorry, but this is taking my breath away! If this is what the Democrats are seriously pushing for this country's future, I've got to seriously ask you, is this what America truly wants? I doubt this, and honestly I can already see massive storm clouds forming on the horizon. How can any democratic government go as far as to force their people to deal with a mandate such as having to buy their own health care?
As a matter of fact, 48 million Americans are not insured for the simple reason that they just cannot afford the luxury of putting roughly $600 a month aside to be medically taken care of in the case of cases. This ridiculous law labelled as Obama Care will fail to bring those 48 million outcasts into the system as real change has not been created but just more of the same old bad. - Mr. Obama and Mr. Romney, let me address you both now. Please, don't make people pay for something they do not want! Instead you ought to focus on reducing school taxes to a decent minimum in your country as our all money keeps dissipating into muddy and bottomless grounds while the students here are getting dumber by the year. No need to keep trying to polish a turd. Many teachers here are badly trained and consequently suck. Just think, if a graduate can neither spell his own language correctly nor do the simplest math tasks in his head, his teachers clearly failed to do their job. Tell me, what are billions of school taxes good for if the whole US school system is leading itself ad absurdum anyways? Instead use the deduction (half to two thirds) and pay for basic health care coverage for everyone equally. In addition, drastically skim medical procedures, medication costs, hospital admission fees, etc. There is simply no justification whatsoever for having to pay $50 up front on seeing a physician, $500 to be let into a hospital, hundreds if not thousands of dollars for your meds, etc., etc. It's clearly enough! No more taxes! Redistribute existing taxes, and help us live a less burdened life. If you as a reader agree with me, please pass this on. Thanks!

Seelenpartner, Zwillingsseelen, ... Alles Aus Einer Einzigen Seele (II)

Seelenpartner, Zwillingsseelen, ... Jede ...
Buy small and local   Hi everybody! - Coming from a tiny country like Austria, one might assume that globalisation is just a phenomenon tailored for larger nations, but no, it has also been affecting us all across Europe. Globalisation itself is of complex nature, and even though I'm not planning to write about globalisation per se today, it somehow dictates our overall shopping behavior by bringing in more and more big box chain stores worldwide which sets the general trend for methodically and eventually putting local small family- run as well as individualists' shops out of business. In the 70ies I remember mom and dad taking us along to a wide range of stores from the baker to the butcher, the grocer's, the florist, the hard ware place, the electrician, the tobacco store, etc. What great memories our weekly trips to the market created for us. There we would hand- pick fresh fruit, produce, and other delicacies. Sometimes we would even get a piece of fruit or a carrot fo...
College or no college - That's the question    Now the time is here again for high school graduates to venture off to college and university. I still, to this day, remember being thrilled and overly excited to start as a fresh(wo)man in a new place where studying would go hand in glove with partying for the next few years. I love to see every one's kids swarm out and flock together in college districts and on student campus terrains. Most teenagers get accepted somewhere even though often at second or third choice sites, but they will all have to face one and the same question which is, at what price? Unless you are granted a scholarship, three years and plus of college education costs you an arm and a leg, and if you keep going for more profound specialization, you will be in debts up your neck by the time you have got your PhD. Then what? Go and spit out job applications like a ball machine hoping that someone is going to hire you - unless of course you were lucky eno...
