Meditation (II)

Meditation (II) - Good morning! - All great prophets including Jesus have at least once in their lives sought the comfort of solitude and found profound answers through the ancient practice of meditation. In seclusion -where there's basically nothing else but peace and quiet - man's mind calms down for once and all, and his Ego gets pushed aside giving way to the soul at last. The Higher Self builds the connection to both man's soul and THE SOURCE just like a bridge. Once the mind, which usually goes a 100 miles an hour, is finally at ease and soothed through music, mantras, chanting, affirmations or drums (Shamanic approach), it is clear and ready to pose any question. Now being able to breathe, the soul rejoices for it is majorly involved after all which is actually fairly difficult considering how much oppressed or rather suppressed it usually lies dormant in most of us. In case, you wonder who or what the aggressor is, in fact it is nothing else but our overly zealous Ego. As well- equipped as our soul may come back in order to tackle various karmic issues in a new life, a lot of times our egotistic, arrogant, ignorant and self- righteous Ego puts all our good intentions on the side- lines. Often we fall back onto negative karmic patterns for the umpteenth time although our soul had just the opposite in mind. You see, our Egos are so terribly vain, mislead, hurt, challenged, questioned - and God knows what else - that it quickly turns into a dangerous distraction on our karmic path. As if that weren't enough yet, often times genetic defects, hereditary conditions as well as other mental diseases may exhaust our souls additionally. Absolutely right, that set of unwanted predispositions may also be part of one's Karma. That's why we are truly well advised to let our soul breathe and express what exactly is on its agenda for this present lifetime. The findings may startle you quite a bit for there's a really good chance that some of the ideas the soul and the Ego share differ dramatically from each other. Our wise inner guidance is permanently on call and does signal the wrong turns instantly and as loudly and persistently as possible, but the matter of fact is, most of us generally prefer to muffle, block, ignore or blend it out entirely. Believe it or not, but lots of folks go deaf, others suffer from mental disturbances and are convinced they "need" all kinds of medication to expel the voice for good. In reality, bipolarity, depression, anger management, and other mental disorders are nothing but a precursor towards much more serious and way more demanding issues in the making. Millions if not billions of people around the globe are alcoholics, drug addicts or into extreme compulsive behaviors, all signs that we need to finally take the soul seriously and allow it to uninterruptedly work on what it has come back for. Meditation is not just a brilliant teacher with respect to stoic sitting, deep breathing and clear thinking but also the best of healers in terms of cleansing our torn and corrupted Egos and fulfilling the soul's original purpose. Our inner peace, harmony and happiness all grows with every single step of resolution that we take. No more need to sweat the small stuff, I guess. By working on marginally significant aspects of our personality first, we will piece by piece release a great deal of pressure eventually leading us through more and more substantial issues. - Years and years ago, several friends of mine started to turn towards meditation seemingly more out of fun and interest than anything else and were rather caught by surprise, to say the least, once the most profound life changes started to occur. Others, however, had just grown so incredibly bored or frustrated with lingering stagnations that they began to seriously look into meditation for solutions and ended up with fundamental changes putting their lives upside down and inside out. - No doubt, the first couple of meditation sessions may definitely be rather uncomfortable or occasionally even frightening for there's just nobody else but us ourselves engaged in a process which will inevitably sooner or later unearth the absolute truth. This can be highly painful especially if we are unwilling or inflexibel to change things around for the mere sake of improvement. That one friend of mine knew that the time had come to break out of her dull marital routine simply because her husband refused to spiritually keep growing with her. As a result, she would venture off and attend esoteric seminars all by herself, and one day she met someone new and later on divorced her clueless spouse. That other guy is very much into spirituality himself, and so they spent a fulfilled decade together before they split up again. My friend knows that she needs to keep pursuing her own spiritual path regardless of whether she's with someone or not, but I'm pretty sure there will be others who are able and willing to accompany her for a while. There's no guarantee at all that our lives will automatically turn out to be perfectly picturesque and fairytale- like. Some lives may come close to that ideal, others may, plainly speaking, just suck. However, one thing for sure, the soul is always on a mission to fix and correct karmic missteps, and therefore it must be heard and followed in order to eventually escape the burdensome wheel of rebirth and return to the blissful union with our beloved Twin Soul and ultimately with THE DIVINE SOURCE.

Seelenpartner, Zwillingsseelen, ... Alles Aus Einer Einzigen Seele (II)

Seelenpartner, Zwillingsseelen, ... Jede ...
Buy small and local   Hi everybody! - Coming from a tiny country like Austria, one might assume that globalisation is just a phenomenon tailored for larger nations, but no, it has also been affecting us all across Europe. Globalisation itself is of complex nature, and even though I'm not planning to write about globalisation per se today, it somehow dictates our overall shopping behavior by bringing in more and more big box chain stores worldwide which sets the general trend for methodically and eventually putting local small family- run as well as individualists' shops out of business. In the 70ies I remember mom and dad taking us along to a wide range of stores from the baker to the butcher, the grocer's, the florist, the hard ware place, the electrician, the tobacco store, etc. What great memories our weekly trips to the market created for us. There we would hand- pick fresh fruit, produce, and other delicacies. Sometimes we would even get a piece of fruit or a carrot fo...
College or no college - That's the question    Now the time is here again for high school graduates to venture off to college and university. I still, to this day, remember being thrilled and overly excited to start as a fresh(wo)man in a new place where studying would go hand in glove with partying for the next few years. I love to see every one's kids swarm out and flock together in college districts and on student campus terrains. Most teenagers get accepted somewhere even though often at second or third choice sites, but they will all have to face one and the same question which is, at what price? Unless you are granted a scholarship, three years and plus of college education costs you an arm and a leg, and if you keep going for more profound specialization, you will be in debts up your neck by the time you have got your PhD. Then what? Go and spit out job applications like a ball machine hoping that someone is going to hire you - unless of course you were lucky eno...
