Treats For The Wrong Kind - Good morning! - No idea, maybe it's just me, and I'm not getting it. Maybe this entire matter is supposed to be utterly beyond my understanding. At this point, I really just feel like shrugging my shoulders and walking away from this apparent injustice happening here. Not enough that every loser in this country can easily get on welfare, but they can also enjoy all of its benefits often for a long time through fraud, scam and other tricks. Talking about sticking to the state budget, the average of yearly welfare state subsidy equals $50.000 per household! Now the governor of this so ridiculously overpriced State of Vampire rather than Empire is suggesting in all earnest to fund college education for jail birds! Mr. Cuomo, you can't be serious! Who in the hell is going to pay for this incredible boost of knowledge hailing down on the incarcerated part of NY's society?
I strongly doubt, the idea was to have all of those precious delinquents pay for their journey themselves. So, if not them, who then will be "asked" to support all those law- breakers? We, the stupid law- abiding and hard- working commoners have been financing correctional facilities for decades anyway. After all, it costs around $60.000 a year to house and feed one inmate! You may wonder how many prisoners there are in the State of NY alone? 83,608 according to a national statistics! Do the math, that's $50,164,800 in only one year!!! - Why not have all those great entrepreneurs, businesses and production sites take over instead since they are all granted a 10- year grace period of tax exemption if they move here? While they aren't paying any taxes for an entire decade, and we are shelling out between $30.000 and $70.000 per homeowner as not to lose our houses and other possessions, why not hand over that bill to them in the meantime? I honestly see no point whatsoever in increasing the burden on us working and middle class folks. I think, I speak for a vast majority in this state fearing that we are eventually reaching our breaking point after all! Seriously, how much more are we being bled? There is absolutely no need at all to school prisoners for it is clearly too late. This should have been done much earlier in life - preventively, you see! In my opinion, they should rather physically work hard and offset their costs of incarceration so they are no longer a burden to the noticeably dwindling number of loyal tax payers. With respect to Cuomo's latest idea, just yesterday a man complained on TV saying, "How fair is this? I go to college, get my degree and end up being in debts up my butt while those guys get the same kind of education for absolutely free!" And that's exactly the point! Are those who in terms of work refuse to integrate in the mainstream of life and all those who simply choose to fail and live by their own rules instead by any means better individuals that deserve special treatment? It sure looks like that! A comment such as, "Who are the dumb ones here, them or us?" would surface rather rarely still a while back, but by now it has definitely become quite frequent and loud. And you know what, I don't even blame them because I'm one of them, and I do understand the pain perfectly well. Quite apparently the wrong kind of people - nothing but LOSERS in general anyway - is being supported, helped and carried along as if it were indeed a privilege to make oneself an outcast one way or another. I'm afraid, the dumb ones are in fact all those who are still managing to hold their jobs, keep paying their taxes and remain lawful after all. - Did you know that the same governor implemented the insane idea of having someone's driving license suspended if that person's tax debts exceeds 10 grand? Yes, I feel that the people here are getting it all right bitching about being increasingly punished. Instead incentives by the dozens are created for the losers among us. Maybe if we all become lazy criminals, we will finally be rewarded for nothing at all as well.
