Holy Farce - Alright, so there I was again a few nights ago watching just another episode of the spellbinding show "Hunting Hitler" on History Channel. When that team of top US- secret service investigators got into revealing an all too obvious supportive connection between the Roman Catholic Church and numerous high- ranking Nazi officers in the process of escaping from Europe's war- torn countries and ultimately their fair judgement, I felt pretty much at unease, to say the least. However, when they unearthed hidden baptistery registers which included some rather familiar names, I really started to lose it. No doubt, the question as to whether merely a small group of priests was acting on their own accord and thus independently from the Vatican, was a legitimate one, but somehow I was growing suspicious of that not having been it yet. Actually, rather the opposite turned out to be the case. With regard to the Nazi war horrors, the Roman Catholic Church had reportedly both before and during Hitler's reign taken a stand of blurred and pseudo- obligatory rather than of clearly fierce resistance. In my opinion, this alone should have raised a red flag already! Anyway, because Hitler had made such generous concessions to the church promising them absolute freedom, I suppose, the secular response went overall reciprocal by just turning half a deaf ear to their worldly and inarguably hostile conduct towards the Jewish part of humanity. As if that was not enough yet, the church not only stepped in to actively start rescuing and sheltering prominent Nazi war criminals who knowingly showed records of unfathomably abominable atrocities but also enabled many of them to ultimately escape to South America. To facilitate this step, they even went as far as to baptize quite a few of Hitler's henchmen and so gave them absolute absolution for their horrible transgressions! Then they simply changed their names, handed out forged passports and dismissed them as brand-new and free citizens. I was just flabbergasted! How in the world would Christianity possibly ever pair with Anti- Semitism, I was wondering in shock? Well, just as I was stewing over this discrepancy, it literally struck me out of the blue again. OMG! Of course, the answer - by the way, as clear as day - had all along been right in front of me. The Roman Catholic Church just does not approve of Jews and their faith whatsoever, never has and never will! Holy Crap, what an overwhelming epiphany that was! That excuse according to which the Vatican was seriously concerned about potentially being taken over by communism upset me even more. I find it quite hard to believe that Central Europe was in imminent danger of being overthrown by communism in 1945. Besides, rather hypothetically speaking, what could the Nazis have done to prevent that from happening anyway after just having lost the war and with it any realistic hopes for an ongoing Third Reich? How could the Roman Catholic Church have pardoned such barbarities against human kind? Furthermore, how could they ever take responsibility for having aided those war monsters with millions of innocent lives on their conscience? Frankly, that night, I lost all remaining respect, particularly for those leading representatives in Rome. I am utterly disappointed with a blindly trusted and yet nothing but a hypocritical institution which pretends to work in the name and act upon the word of God for all of us when, in reality, they have proven to subtly exclude certain rival ideologies such as the Jewish and the Islamic faith. As sad as all of this is, from a purely Karmic point of view, it is just not surprising that this current quickly uprising Muslim movement for the sake of primarily persecuting and lynching Christians (unfortunately, Jews, too) is coming full circle these days. Just saying, Karma never sleeps, and perhaps, in that sense, the Roman Catholic Church is finally harvesting what they started sowing thousands of years ago already by means of the Knights Templar. To be perfectly clear, I am not here to attack the billions of most devote Christians around the globe but rather the Popes and their corrupt and power- hungry clergy in leading positions throughout the history. I was strictly raised Catholic and would never dare question God, Jesus or the Holy Spirit. However, I simply cannot help being unspeakably disgusted with the multiply- layered abuse of power up to this very day and shall therefore be cautious and weary in the future as far as looking to this organization in trustfulness and loyalty. All this does is raise the fair question as to what else they are not telling us.
