Mind Your Language! - Good morning! - There's no doubt in my mind, without language we would still be taking baby steps in terms of evolution. On the other hand though, metaphorically speaking, the human tongue is capable of cutting sharper than any knife, and even though entirely boneless it may break someone's heart in less than a split second. A lot of us are generally not aware of how we actually use language and the impact only one wrong utterance can have on others for an entire life time. I like the idiomatic expression, "to eat one's words". Wishful thinking this merely expresses as there's unfortunately no such thing as being able to take one's words back and to make them unheard. We all use countless phrases, proverbs and common utterances which have been handed down over many generations often without even knowing about their etymological origins. Most of us also don't have much of an idea what kind of energy is usually carried along with anything that's verbal. All that is filled with energy gradually becomes animated and consequently leaves their invisible tracks. Rather unsurprisingly, so does language. Now what's really damaging though, how often do we want to say what's really on our minds but just don't do it either because we're scared of rejection one way or another or because we fear we just can't be completely honest. Beating around the bush often makes it all much worse and clearly takes away from the "straight- line" energies exchanged. At times we may even prefer to express the exact opposite of what we intentionally planned to state. Usually this form of verbal (self-) deceit is subliminally perceived just as such ultimately leaving both parties behind in bewilderment and confusion. Just think for a second how many times we throw out some sloppy and snappy "I don't care", "I could care less", "Who cares?", etc. if all we'd actually love to blurt out is "In fact, I DO care". Or how quick are we with vulgarities like "Screw him/ her" when this is actually nothing but a stupid defense mechanism due to feeling hurt? Once we come to understand that this sort of utterly unnecessary confusion creates nothing more than harm, we shall be able to develop the conscience of simply wanting to avoid it. Whenever we wish negative things on others, we clearly compromise and corrupt our own emotional and spiritual sanity. What's more, curses - no matter how "light"- energetically stay for generations and will attach even beyond that resulting in a great deal of pain and destruction which is all very hard to undo. Therefore we've really got to be careful how we use such a powerful tool as language. Besides, be aware of the potency of frequently expressed statements such as "That kills me" or "I'd give an arm and a leg" just to name a few examples. How incredibly violent some of these are! And we are truly surprised that in this country more folks get killed or lose their limbs than anywhere else? It is completely legit to utter discomfort as a result of temporarily feeling sick or ill. Just don't make it a habit to repeat this verbally for the sake of getting people' s attention all the time because eventually it will backfire on you, and then you will indeed have to face the kind of fate you've been calling out for. Let me give you a brief but clear example. Instead of complaining that something "goes on your nerve", just replace the word nerve with another meaningless lexeme. Why? Well, as a matter of fact, the human body reacts like a sponge and will absorb any expressions in a 100% unfiltered manner. In the latter case, this will inevitably start affecting your nerves and result in a nervous condition at best if repeated hundreds and thousands of times. Try to eliminate any negations as much as possible. Our subconscious does not set any boundaries to our verbal intake and does simply not distinguish between right or wrong. However, it appears to completely block out negatives such as don't, never, no, etc. It just does NOT understand what you're talking about when you use negatives, thus it omits these automatically. So the next time you claim NOT to eat that much, make sure you reconsider this statement before turning it into a purely positive one like for instance, "I eat less". And last but not least, use present tense in your statements rather than future expressions. "I am healing" is much more powerful than "I will/ am going to heal". To sum up, try to grow aware of what you say and why, and attempt to express your feelings as honestly as you can to avoid any unnecessary confusion. Then do not repeatedly use phrases that contain proverbial violence as this will at one point start coming back to you. More over, make it a new way of life and use as few negatives in your speech as possible. Over time you will start feeling the benefits and be able to enjoy life much more. Yes, it is all about energy in life, and even though any change is challenging at first, it will certainly have been worthwhile in the end.
Seelenpartner, Zwillingsseelen, ... Jede ...
