Serve And Protect Rather Than Prospect And Swerve - Good morning everyone and welcome back to my blog! - Just unbelievable, but this morning it happened again while I was going for my walk. A quite evidently overly busy cop in our quaint village held up just another person, and as usual I could not help thinking, "Here we go again. Bet me, another woman driver", and it turned out, I was right once more! Eight out of ten times, I am right on the money with my prediction, and even the two strikes hardly ever deviate from the common image of senior drivers, even though male. What the heck is right! Pretty neat, I'm tempted to sarcastically comment as it is usually merely about minor and petty traffic violations. Jesus Christ, if it only weren't as bleak, though, I would perhaps enjoy a hearty laughter! The village we live in is in fact barely a stone's throw away from one of this nation's crime capitals with an impressively high percentage of inmates being regularly transferred to Upstate NY from all over the place! This is just a brief reality check here, nothing else! Schenectady does not only lodge or rather host the heaviest cases of hardened criminals but paradoxically also a fairly large number of apparently utterly resilient welfare recipients who well live off other people's tax money in a rather brazen taken- for- granted than grateful fashion but who at the same time are just not inclined to contribute actively to society by means of work. That very destructive mentality consequently leads to an overall sluggish conduct of doing nothing productively but instead causing issues all around. As we all know, lots of those unwilling folks just love to get into trouble with the law, and this is where law enforcement usually comes into play. This country's police, however, is clearly understaffed mainly for reasons of widespread political corruption as well as cronyism aka favoritism within their own ranks. Besides, their wings are being clipped on top due to that currently most incredible race spectacle, ultimately infringing their radius of action drastically, especially as far as executing the law with regard to people of color who are statistically proven to act even more provocatively as a result. I really try to understand that the job of a police man or woman is generally subject to an exceeding deal of distress and danger in this country and is thus anything but easy to perform. However, judging from the all too dire situation the way it's been developing within the last couple of years in particular, I just can't shake that weird feeling that there are in fact too many people joining law enforcement all for the wrong reasons. After all, I have just read online that the median annual salary of a US police officer is close to $53 K which suggests a range between $44 and $62 K depending on a variety of factors - whatever the latter means. Therefore, if the primary motive for someone to choose such a career is a monetary one first and foremost, I believe that individual should definitely not be working in that field. Instead of stopping the real trouble makers from committing and carrying out acts of crime like assaults, burglaries, shootouts, etc., lots of cops apparently opt to avoid their serving and protective duties and instead rather prefer to pull over and intimidate innocent and law- abiding (senior) citizens for laughably insignificant reasons. Of course, engaging into a supposedly "authoritative and lecturing action of duty" almost always guarantees a fairly safe, trouble- free and thus harmless encounter, but it indisputably undermines their integrity as well as their credibility. Should you truly think that the real world out there with all its bad ass boys has not figured out those wimps of police yet, you are clearly mistaken. Honestly, their candidly much bolder and far more audacious behavior should be proof enough, don't you agree? Just listen to that, about three weeks ago, a white man was attacked and mugged by three tall and big black guys in our immediate vicinity, right behind the police station, right under their noses, so to speak. Guess what, not a single police man or woman was to be seen that night as they were all hiding in their little fortress. Even worse, our neighbor who the victim ran into afterwards has tried multiple times to report on his behalf, but so far he has not even been admitted to the station, much less had a chance to submit his complaint. This is just BS and nothing short of outrageous! It really appears as if our local cowardly police force preferably keeps a low profile locking themselves away at night when they are in fact needed the most and crawls out of their holes at daytime bright- eyed and bushy- tailed to go about harassing women and senior drivers in the first place over absolutely stupid trivial things. Not at all commendable if you ask me! I wonder, does this signify that from now on I am entirely on my own in case I get assaulted, burglarized, mugged, robbed, raped or even killed? Has the situation by now indeed deteriorated so badly in this country that it is becoming ever the more implicative to call for self- justice based on neighborhood watch because the ones that are supposed to protect us are gradually turning into pathetic marshmallows and ridiculous ticket hunters?
Seelenpartner, Zwillingsseelen, ... Jede ...
It's not the uniform that makes the man. It's the man that makes the uniform. You are either a good person or a bad person. I don't think your occupation has anything to do with it. I do believe that the world is going down the toilet and we, the people a part of it
